Job Description

* Responsible for the architecture design, strategy development and support of all network equipment, interoffice data and wide area network communications

* Manage a midsized multinational Wide Area Network that includes Routers, Switches, VOIP Call Manager, Unity Messaging and Firewall administration Design, implementation and administration of a regionally dispersed NAC, VOIP network, LAN/WAN, Network Management, Security, and other network related activities

* Responsible for the engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrade of the company's network hardware and supporting applications

* Responsible for providing support and architectural design for the network infrastructure

* Responsible for the technical leadership, architectural design, project management, and deployment of Cisco solutions

* Ensure adequate design, capacity options, redundancy, and overall end-to-end network responsiveness

* Ensure all configurations are backed up appropriately and comply with business continuity plans requirements

* Configure and insert new telephones along with assigned users

* Assists Branch and Company personnel in resolving issues with telephone connectivity, call forwarding, and fax lines

* Configure route patterns needed to implement fax machines into the network

* Configure telephone settings for voicemail/ICD/Call pickup groups

* Configure settings for new branches and install telephones into system

* Install data lines/voice lines/modular connectors/patch panels and 66 blocks Verify that requested data lines are needed and coordinate the installation of data lines by outside contractors

* Coordinate installation of new analog lines

* Work with branch to trouble-shoot issues with Western Union, Money Order, Cash Advance, branch teller and new account telephone lines

* Add and delete users; reset passwords

* Lead and mentor network support personnel as required

* Other duties as assigned



Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time

* Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery

* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

* Requires a minimum of 3+ years experience in Cisco networking

* Must have NAC Implementation experience

* Knowledge of and experience with Cisco ISE preferred

* Strong networking experience Layers 1-4; Implementing and troubleshooting VPN site to site connectivity

* Must have detailed knowledge of PIX/ASA Firewalls

* Experience with Content Switch and VPN Connector

* Cisco 65xx experience, HSRP, route redundancy, Etherchannel

* 3 years experience in: Cisco Call Manager versions 6.0 or higher; Cisco Unity, Cisco CRS Editor, Data and voice line installation and maintenance; Cisco routing and switches

* Knowledge of various models of fax machines

* Ability to work with Network Engineers, Server Support, and Systems Support staff

* Ability to mentor and coach Telecommunication Specialists

* Must be comfortable working with vendors for support and presales

* Must Have:

o Detailed troubleshooting and network evaluative skills

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Ability to organize and prioritize

* Capable of meeting deadlines

* Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
